• Pet transportation services from veterinary clinics or homes

• Cremation witnessing services (where available)

• Urns, memorial items, and keepsake jewelry

• Return of cremated remains to families

All services are provided with the highest level of care, dignity, and respect.

3. Authorization for Cremation

By submitting a cremation request or authorizing transportation of your pet, you confirm that:

• You are the legal owner of the pet or an authorized representative of the owner.

• You have full authority to request cremation services.

• You grant Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory permission to transport, cremate, and process the remains of the pet.

Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory is not responsible for disputes regarding ownership or authorization.

4. Pet Identification & Tracking

Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory uses a detailed identification and tracking system to ensure the correct handling of every pet.

This includes:

• Unique stainless steel identification tags

• Written documentation throughout the process

• Labeling of containers with the family name and pet name

• Tracking of the pet through every stage of the cremation process

While every reasonable precaution is taken, families acknowledge that cremation is an irreversible process.

5. Cremation Process

All cremations are performed using cremation equipment designed specifically for animals.

Depending on the selected service, cremation may be:

• Private Cremation: Your pet is cremated individually and cremains are returned.

• Communal Cremation: Pets are cremated together and cremains are not returned.

Families may be permitted to witness the cremation process where arrangements have been made in advance.

6. Return of Cremated Remains

For private cremations, cremated remains are typically available:

• Immediately after cremation if the family is present

• Within approximately 3–4 business days for standard service

Cremains may be returned through:

• Personal delivery by Rainbow Bridge staff

• Pickup at the crematory

• Return to the veterinary clinic (if arranged)

Rainbow Bridge Crematory cannot guarantee exact return timelines in cases of unforeseen operational circumstances.

7. Transportation Services

Transportation services may be provided from homes or veterinary clinics.

Transportation is performed using professional vehicles operated by Rainbow Bridge owners or authorized staff members.

Rainbow Bridge Crematory is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, veterinary clinic scheduling, or other circumstances outside of our control.

8. Urns, Jewelry & Memorial Products

Rainbow Bridge Crematory offers a selection of urns, memorial items, and keepsake jewelry.

Please note:

• Product availability may vary.

• Colours, materials, and finishes may appear slightly different from website images.

• Custom items or engraved products may require additional processing time.

All sales of custom or engraved memorial products are final.

9. Payment Terms

Payment may be required before cremation services are performed.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Credit card

• Debit card

• Cash

• Veterinary clinic billing arrangements (where applicable)

• 4% additional charge if using credit or debit card

Failure to complete payment may delay service or the return of cremains.

10. Limitation of Liability

Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematory strives to provide the highest standard of care and professionalism.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Rainbow Bridge Crematory shall not be liable for:

• Emotional distress related to pet loss

• Delays outside our reasonable control

• Veterinary clinic errors or misinformation

• Third-party shipping or delivery issues

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the cost of the services provided.
